 A nationally representative sample of 214 mothers and fathers, with babies under 12 months of age, was interviewed between 15 September and 19 October 2000. The survey was conducted by Ipsos Capibus on behalf of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths and Tomy UK Ltd.
