- The password changes periodically and changes published in Community Practitioner. From January 2006 it will be dodo2006 (lowercase, no spaces).
- If you have trouble logging in, please check your membership number and password which you may have mis-typed or forgotten.

To read some files on the website you will need Adobe Acrobat. If you do not have the plug-in installed you can download it very easily by visiting the Adobe website - simply click on the link below and follow the instructions. |
Viewing Read the Acrobat documentation. Note that viewing online does not download the whole file in one go - the server will send out pages as you request them. Mac users please note that the plug-in does not work in Internet Explorer, but does in Netscape Navigator.
Technical Tips |
Browser The site is browser independent. Any browser that supports features common to Netscape Navigator 4 and Internet Explorer 4 or higher will be adequate to access the site. |
Bookmarks/Favourites This gives you the option of building up your own catalogue of web resources. If the site you are browsing is useful and you think it may required for future use: |
- Click on Bookmark/Favourites in your top menu bar
- You will see a drop down menu
- Give the site a recognisable name which you can view easily
Deleting temporary files |
This will help you to speed up performance. If you have too many temporary files, you will have problems logging in or access error loops. Clearing the temporary files will help you to navigate the site faster and may solve navigation problems. This will not delete your web addresses in the Favourites or Bookmarks.
If you have problems doing this, please contact your IT department. |
Searching |
The search facility gives the option of searching the CPHVA and MSF sites, and the whole of the World Wide Web. |
To search |
