BLAIR'S NHS CHALLENGE MUST CARRY STAFF WITH IT
Health union, MSF today (Wednesday, 22 March) welcomed the challenge laid down by the Prime Minister on NHS modernisation.
MSF Head of Health, Roger Kline said that MSF would respond positively to the challenge.
He said: "All our members use the NHS as well as working in it. We also want to make the NHS the best health system in the world."
"If the Prime Minister's challenge is to get the response it deserves it must ensure that staff across the NHS are treated with respect and are listened to. In too many NHS Trusts a culture of 'the right to manage' excludes most staff from influencing change."
"MSF will be preparing a detailed response to the modernisation challenge."
